"I liked this book very much. I liked the hero's sense of humor and quiet persistence, as well as the twists and turns of the plot, which keep you guessing until the very end. I enjoyed the Toronto setting, and the feeling of authenticity of the Chinese culture in that multicultural city. If I had a criticism, it was only that I felt some of the bad guys got off a bit too easily!"
"I'm one of George J. Condon’s biggest fans. I've read all of his short stories, so, when I found out that he was writing suspense novels, I was eager to read his books.
The Dead Don’t Cry was a easy read. Because I live in Toronto, I got caught up in the familiarity of the city locations described in the novel. The interaction between Mrs. Raintree, her son and her companion was compelling.
Get ready for a very intriguing ride. My only regret is that romance between Matt and Sam did not develop further. I highly recommend this book.
